You’ve worked for years in the same industry; maybe even for the same company. And though for a long time, you’ve known that you’re meant for more, you haven’t been quite sure what the “more” was or what to do about it. Launch Before it’s Perfect: Preparation not Procrastination

In the world of online business there is a new anthem being chanted; “Launch before You’re Ready”. This slogan can be found on many an Instagram feed, planner cover, custom mouse pad and tea cozy. Imposter Syndrome is essentially the idea that you don’t have the skills/talent/education/right to claim the role you have taken on (you may remember I touched on it a bit here). This is especially common in the academic and business world, and especially common for women. We often feel undeserving of the recognition or the attention directed at us when we don’t have the confidence in who we are, what we know, and consequently what we can offer others. As a new coach, I can tell you this has been a major struggle for me, (one that I’ve been fairly...Read More
